Hope you are all keeping well and safe during these unprecedented times. What have you all been up to during the lockdown? Here is what I have been keeping busy with!
Despite only have a small outside yard, I have took to gardening and with the re-opening of garden centres I now have two pink rose bushes and a trough filled with a selection of flowers and a little pine tree. I have been growing lettuce, chilli and bell peppers, rocket, spring onions and nasturtiums. Its looking lovely! As well as gardening, I have been continuing to learn French using the Duolingo app which is great fun, and there's an owl on the app so just perfect! Oh, and of course, launching our online shop! I have been really lucky home schooling my two children Amy (15) and Jack (13). Amy is so organised and focused, she is happy to get on with her work. Jack needs a bit more support so it has been so useful to get to know his learning style. I have been able to use my coaching skills to better support his learning and he has flourished in the last 8 weeks. They have both been amazing and even put up with a little assembly which I have created each week!! I have done lots of baking, however the impact of eating all the cake has negatively impacted my waist line, so it's back to being healthy!! Paul has been busy in the kitchen trying lots of new recipes from around the world and the kids and I have been happy to be his guinea pigs. Watch this space for Paul's recipe blog coming soon! Take care folks, and stay safe.
